No payout yet
This case is still being litigated — there’s no settlement fund, so there’s nothing to claim yet. We’ll notify you if that changes.
What Happened?
This lawsuit alleges that Disney unlawfully collected and used visitors’ facial recognition data at the entrances of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure without obtaining meaningful consent. Plaintiffs claim Disney began deploying facial recognition technology around April 2026 to verify tickets and prevent fraud but failed to adequately notify guests how their biometric information was being collected, stored, retained, and used. The lawsuit further alleges that adults and children had their facial scans collected without proper disclosure, in violation of California privacy and consumer protection laws.
Could Disney Owe Me Money?
Possibly, but not yet. No settlement has been reached, so there’s no fund and no fixed amount — Payouts range from $25-$100+.
If the case settles or a court rules in the class’s favor, we’ll show the real payout terms here and notify everyone on the waitlist.
