No payout yet
This case is still being litigated — there’s no settlement fund, so there’s nothing to claim yet. We’ll notify you if that changes.
What Happened?
This lawsuit alleges that Home Depot illegally used automated license plate recognition (ALPR) technology in its California store parking lots to collect and track customers’ vehicle information without their knowledge or consent. Plaintiffs claim the system captured license plate numbers, vehicle make, model, color, timestamps, and location data and shared that information with a database accessible to law enforcement agencies. The lawsuit further alleges that Home Depot failed to comply with California privacy laws governing the collection, retention, and sharing of license plate data.
Could Home Depot Owe Me Money?
Possibly, but not yet. No settlement has been reached, so there’s no fund and no fixed amount — Payouts range from $1-$500+.
If the case settles or a court rules in the class’s favor, we’ll show the real payout terms here and notify everyone on the waitlist.
