Hyundai
No payout yet
This case is still being litigated — there’s no settlement fund, so there’s nothing to claim yet. We’ll notify you if that changes.
What Happened?
A proposed class action alleges Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Motor Company sold certain newer Hyundai vehicles with a defective Direct Driver Monitoring System that can allegedly misread a driver's eyes or head position and trigger repeated false distraction warnings, disable cruise-control or other driver-assistance functions, and in some circumstances cause sudden braking. The lawsuit claims Hyundai knew about problems with the system but failed to provide an adequate repair, causing owners and lessees to allegedly overpay for vehicles with an undisclosed defect.
Could Hyundai Owe Me Money?
Possibly, but not yet. No settlement has been reached, so there’s no fund and no fixed amount — Payouts range from $250-$1500.
If the case settles or a court rules in the class’s favor, we’ll show the real payout terms here and notify everyone on the waitlist.
