No payout yet

This case is still being litigated — there’s no settlement fund, so there’s nothing to claim yet. We’ll notify you if that changes.

What Happened?

This lawsuit alleges that Target falsely advertises certain Favorite Day and Good & Gather snack products as “yogurt covered” even though the coatings allegedly contain no yogurt, yogurt powder, or similar yogurt-based ingredients. Plaintiffs claim consumers associate yogurt with nutritional benefits such as probiotics, calcium, protein, and digestive health support and are willing to pay more for products marketed as containing real yogurt. The lawsuit alleges the coatings instead consist of ingredients such as sugar, palm kernel oil, milk powders, whey powder, palm oil, soy lecithin, and vanilla, causing consumers to overpay for products that allegedly do not provide the benefits associated with yogurt.

Could Target Owe Me Money?

Possibly, but not yet. No settlement has been reached, so there’s no fund and no fixed amount — Payouts range from $5-$20+.

If the case settles or a court rules in the class’s favor, we’ll show the real payout terms here and notify everyone on the waitlist.

Who Might This Case Cover?

  • If you purchased Favorite Day or Good & Gather products marketed as “yogurt covered” in New York for personal, family, or household use during the class period to be determined.
