Workday

No payout yet

This case is still being litigated — there’s no settlement fund, so there’s nothing to claim yet. We’ll notify you if that changes.

What Happened?

This lawsuit alleges that Workday's AI-powered hiring and applicant screening tools unlawfully discriminated against job applicants based on age, race, and disability. Plaintiffs claim Workday's algorithms automatically screened, ranked, or rejected applicants in a way that disproportionately excluded protected groups, resulting in qualified candidates being denied employment opportunities. The case also alleges that Workday, through its AI recruiting technology, may be directly liable under federal and California anti-discrimination laws because its software performs hiring functions traditionally carried out by employers. Workday denies the allegations and maintains that its tools evaluate job qualifications, not protected characteristics, and that employers retain control over hiring decisions. The lawsuit includes a nationwide collective action for certain age discrimination claims and additional California discrimination claims.

Could Workday Owe Me Money?

Possibly, but not yet. No settlement has been reached, so there’s no fund and no fixed amount — Payouts range from $1-$1,000+.

If the case settles or a court rules in the class’s favor, we’ll show the real payout terms here and notify everyone on the waitlist.
